Jean,

I am still hoping that Mobipocket will recover. I have over a hundred mobi format books. As a reader, the only one I use more is ubook. My luck is starting to turn with the iLiad. I was able to install FBreader and a few PDF files. I can't connect it to my mobi desktop, since I need the most current version, and Mobipocket is still down. Once, I get a few days with it, I plan to do a review of the reader.

Hi Ellen -

I, too, am beginning to worry about Mobipocket. I was OK with the hardware failure story 'til last night. Then I remembered that hardware can be shipped overnight delivery. I also attempted to access the actual Mobipocket forums only to find that these are down, too. Not good.

I made the decision to purchase my Nokia N75 because I could (and do) run Mobipocket on it. I love my Nokia and will be bummed out if I can't do the Mobipocket thing on it.

Are you having any better luck with your iLiad? Have you gotten far enough to compare it with your Sony Reader?

Just wondering.
