They pack a CD into their first edition hard covers. This includes the book you just bought, along with a bunch of other books by the author, or of a similar subject. All stories on the CD are DRM free and provided in numerous different formats. Needless to say, I'm a huge fan of this. And you can even get the CDs online for free from http://baencd.thefifthimperium.com/ This is (from what I understand) a Baen approved, fan run site. Keep up the great blog.
