TIA
Joe

These are hard to come by. Have you tried Ebay? The trick is finding the drivers. I already had an ethernet card from back in the day, that I used with my ipaq. Try here to see if you can maybe find drivers for a ethernet card that you may have around. http://www.hpcfactor.com/ It should be under the download section.

Hi Ellen,

I'm really glad I just stumbled across your blog. I've been reading Teleread recently and it's great to find another blog that talks about eBooks.

I hope this doesn't sound commercial, but I just wanted to let you know that I released a free classic literature ebook site a month or so back. The focus is on quality eBooks rather sheer quantity, so I've spent a lot of time on getting the typography at a high quality (I must have spent days on Alice's Adventures in Wonderland alone).

http://www.planetebook.com/

Anyway, I thought you might be interested. I'd love to hear if they look OK on the devices you're reading them on.

So far I've published the books in PDF format so they may not be fantastic on some of the devices you use, but I'm currently investigating creating an EPUB version as well, which we'll hopefully see most future devices support.

Nice site - have bookmarked. My own ebook regimen revolves around my N800 and Fbreader. N800 has become my primary device in the effort to go laptopless, but will probably add an e-ink device to segregate out my reading. In any event, congrats on a well done site.

Ellen, your site is just great. Really, because there is a lack of information about my device Web DT 375. I know only two serious web resources about it.
Andy’s site and yours. Thanks one more time. So, about my problem. I bought DT375 on Ebay a few days ago. The reason to buy was I wanted to change small screen of my Sony Clie NR-70 to bigger one because I got my eye problem. Unfortunately there was no cradle in the lot and DT375 USB driver for the PC.
I installed the Microsoft ActiveSync 4.2 and stopped my actions on this step. I have no information about how can I connect device without a cradle. What sort of USB cable can I use? I didn’t find a cradle on your pictures, there was a special stand in use. I understood you have no cradle as well. So, can you teach me how can I fix this connection problem?
Thanks a lot
Best regards
Alex Chestakov (salivan@ihug.com.au)
Sydney, Australia

Alex,

I have never sync'd my 375 with a PC. You have to have a cradle. Everything I do is from a CF Card. First I copy the install files onto the CF card from my PC and then I put the card into my DT375 and install. I did install my favorite folder from my PC by exporting the favorites then inmporting them into my tablet, again using the CF card. Andy does sell the cradle if you really want the ability to sync, but they are expensive. I really bought the web tablet for reading and playing a couple of simple games. HTH
